France Surrenders!
- April 1st, 2006 In an unprecedented strategic military move, France has surrendered, it appears, for the sake of surrendering. "We no longer feel like running this government of this nation" said the French President Chirac "forget it... just forget it." This marks the first time any nation has surrendered to themselves.

"Only in France can something this asinine happen" said British Prime Minister Tony Blair "we'll continue to try to persuade them not to surrender, but given their military history it's going to be a difficult task."

When asked if their may be a terrorist connection involved in the surrendering of France, United States President Bush responded "They may surrender as fast as the Taliban terror cell, but we believe the evildoers have nothing to do with this, furthermore we will find the bad-guys and eradicate them from the face of the Earth. Our enemies will pay for their misdeeds, we will smoke out our arch-nemises out of their caves and when they come running out, we will bomb them so they run back into the caves where they will remember the reason why they ran out of the cave in the first place, because of the smoke so they will run out again and we will bomb them again. This process of justice for the American people will continue until the terrorists of Beelzebub learns that injustice doesn't win, and that they cannot hide from the forces of truth, justice and the American way."

The future of France is uncertain at this point as no nation has yet claimed the land of France as their own. "We are willing to sign the country over to any takers" remarked President Chirac "I don't care because I'm filthy and don't bathe regularly." When asked what being unhygienic has to do with the surrendering of France, Chirac retorted "Take my country, please."

The effect of the constant surrendering of the nation on its people is astonishing. French is the only language in the world with 60 different words for "Surrender", likening it to the Eskimos who have over 50 words for snow.
Jacques Ouvere when asked what the largest French export might be replied "Is surrendering an export? We are very good at that, you silly American!" Other replies include "White Flags", "Odors", and "Uselessness."
